Itinerary Highlights:
Day 1: Arrival in Asmara
Upon arrival, you’ll be welcomed and transferred to your hotel. Enjoy a free evening to explore nearby dining options.
Day 2: Asmara City Tour
Join our guide for a day in Asmara’s UNESCO-listed city centre, famed for its Italian-modernist architecture. Enjoy a stop for Eritrea’s famous macchiato, visit top gelato and pizza spots, and tour the National Museum. End the day with a fun bowling experience, Eritrean-style!
Day 3: Explore Ghindae, Massawa & Green Island
On the way to Massawa, we will first visit Ghindae, then make our way to Massawa where you will explore Eritrea’s historic Red Sea port with Portuguese, Ottoman, and Italian architectural influences. Walk through the old town, learn about the city’s past as a cultural hub, and see its vibrant blend of historical structures. This will also include beach time for relaxation and take in the serene surroundings of the Red Sea.
Day 4: Ancient Adulis & Foro
Head out early to explore Adulis, the ancient port of the Aksumite Kingdom, known for its archaeological significance and historical trade with the Byzantine Empire. After touring the Adulis site, visit Foro the Red Sea coast, where you’ll see remnants of ancient civilizations. Remember to bring water, sunscreen, and a packed lunch for the day.
Day 5: Return to Asmara
After breakfast, we’ll return to Asmara, where the tour concludes.

To confirm your trip, please complete the contact form on our website. Once we receive your request and verify availability for your chosen dates, we will send you an email with a confirmation of the dates and a link to pay a 10% deposit of the tour fee.
After the deposit is received, we will email you a final confirmation of your tour along with details on the next steps.

We warmly welcome both solo travellers and groups. Our tours require a minimum of 1 guest and can accommodate groups of up to 30 people.

To confirm your tour, a 10% deposit of the tour fee is required. Once your dates and availability are confirmed, we will send you an email with a link to our Stripe account for secure payment. After the payment is processed, you will receive an invoice or receipt for your records.
The remaining balance can be paid in cash upon arrival in Eritrea or settled in full before the start of your tour.

In the unlikely event that Alpha Travel & Tours Agency (Eritrea Tour) cannot deliver a service listed in your tour program, we will issue a refund for the value of the service not provided.
Cancellation and Refund Policy Summary:
• All cancellations must be made in writing via email.
Refunds are based on the following schedule:
30+ days before departure: Full refund minus the deposit.
15–29 days before departure: 50% of the tour cost refunded.
8–14 days before departure: 20% of the tour cost refunded.
0–7 days before departure: No refund.
No refunds will be provided for unused portions of the tour once it has commenced.
